Noor Island

From Quran Palace, for children ages 6 to 11

Every ayah your child memorizes plants a tree.

Noor Island is a gentle building game where your child's Quran memorization grows a whole village. One ayah plants a tree, one surah raises a house, one juz builds a palace. Hudhud the hoopoe guides them every step of the way.

Memorizing is hard to see. Now your child can watch it grow.

Children work hard to memorize, but their progress is invisible, and review feels like homework. Noor Island turns every ayah into something they can see and care for. Their island starts as empty land and becomes a living village, built entirely from what they have learned.

Three small steps, every day

A memory palace room with numbered spots

Listen and place

Your child hears the ayah in a beautiful recitation, repeats it, then places it on an object in a cozy room. It's the classic memory palace method, made simple.

2
Recite the Surah: words turn green as they are said

Practice in short games

Memory Walk, Ayah Puzzle, What Comes Next, and Lantern Run turn practice into play. Ten to fifteen minutes a day is enough.

Watch the village grow

Every ayah learned plants a tree. Every surah raises a building. Finish a juz and its palace tower lights up.

Their Quran becomes a place they can see

Ayah → a tree

From seed to golden fruit as recall gets stronger.

Surah → a building

A bakery, a library, a lighthouse, a little masjid, each with its own story.

Juz → a district

With its own tower that lights up when the juz is complete.

The whole Quran → the Grand Palace

At the heart of the island, lit one section at a time.

Review without the nagging

When an ayah is due for review, its tree looks a little thirsty. Your child waters it by practicing that ayah, and it perks right back up. Trees never die, and missing a day never takes anything away. Spaced review does the remembering, so your child doesn't have to.

Watered

Hudhud listens to every recitation

Your child recites out loud and Noor Island listens on the device. Each word of the ayah lights up: green for words said right, orange for words to try again. Hudhud claps and dances when every word is right, and a wrong word never takes anything away.

  • Recite a whole mushaf page: the app keeps listening and marks words as your child goes
  • Every ayah said right earns Noor, a perfect page earns a bonus
  • "From memory" mode hides the words until they are said
  • The check runs on the phone: your child's voice is never uploaded

Automatic feedback can be wrong and does not replace a teacher.

An old memory technique, made for small hands

For centuries, people have remembered long passages by placing each part in a familiar room. Inside every building on Noor Island is a cozy room where each ayah has its own spot: the key, the door knocker, the cloak on its hook. Hudhud walks the room with your child, in order, until the whole surah flows.

MashaAllah, our tree is growing!

This tree is thirsty. Shall we water it?

Great try! Let's listen together.

Meet Hudhud, your child's guide

Hudhud is a cheerful hoopoe, inspired by the hoopoe in Surah An-Naml. He greets your child, cheers every success, and offers a gentle "let's listen together" when they need help. Tap him: he loves a wave.

Short games, lasting memory

Recite the Surah

Recite a full page and watch the words light up as you go.

Memory Walk

Questions parents ask

What ages is Noor Island for?

Children 6 to 11. Younger children can play with a parent beside them.

Does my child need to read Arabic?

No. Every ayah is recited aloud, and your child learns by listening and repeating. The Uthmani text is always shown for children who are learning to read it.

Which reciter do you use?

[[RECITER NAME]]. Parents can choose another reciter in the parent area.

How long should my child play each day?

About 10 to 15 minutes. You can set your own daily time limit, and Hudhud says good night when it is reached.

What happens to my child's progress if I cancel?

Nothing is deleted. Everything they grew stays on their island, and the five free surahs keep working. Paid surahs pause until you subscribe again.

Is my child's data safe?

There are no ads and no tracking. Voice recordings stay on your device, and recitation is checked on the phone. Read our Privacy Policy.

Does it work offline?

Yes, after a one-time download of the listening model (about 100 MB) and once the ayahs your child plays have been downloaded.

Does it replace a Quran teacher?

No. Noor Island is a daily companion for memorization and review. The automatic recitation feedback can be wrong, so many families use it alongside a teacher.

What's the difference between Quran Palace and Noor Island?

Quran Palace is our memorization app for adults. Noor Island is made just for children, with Hudhud, games, and a village that grows.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone with [[MIN iOS VERSION]] or later, and Android phones with [[MIN ANDROID VERSION]] or later.
